Leslie Buddington began his career in Sheffield and then developed his skills in restaurants in Thailand, New Zealand and Australia (where he fell in love with cooking over fire). After a stint at The Soho Hotel in London, he returned to Sheffield and jointly opened Brocco on the Park. There he enjoyed eight award-winning years before setting up outdoor fire-dining events business Budd & Wild, which became his stepping stone to 6½.
